beside Co.(이하 "회사")는 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조에 따라 정보주체의 개인정보를 보호하고 관련 고충을 신속하게 처리하기 위하여 다음의 처리방침을 수립·공개합니다. 요약하면 — 회사는 baton.(이하 "앱")을 통해 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.

1. 처리 목적 및 수집 항목

회사는 앱을 통해 이용자의 개인정보를 일절 수집·이용하지 않습니다. 따라서 처리 목적별로 수집하는 항목이나 보유·이용 기간에 해당하는 개인정보가 존재하지 않습니다.

2. 기기에 저장되는 데이터 (회사 미접근)

이용자가 생성하는 세션 기록과 바통 텍스트는 이용자 기기 및 위젯 표시용 앱 그룹 저장소(group.com.besideco.baton)에만 저장됩니다. 이 데이터는 회사로 전송되지 않으며 회사는 열람할 수 없습니다. 이용자는 앱 설정에서 언제든 데이터를 내보내거나 전부 삭제할 수 있고, 앱을 삭제하면 데이터도 함께 삭제됩니다.

3. 개인정보의 제3자 제공

회사는 개인정보를 수집하지 않으므로 이를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 인앱 구매("풀 트랙")의 결제는 Apple이 판매자로서 처리하며, 그 과정에서 Apple이 취급하는 정보(결제 정보 등)는 Apple 개인정보처리방침(apple.com/legal/privacy)에 따릅니다. 회사는 결제자의 신원 정보를 전달받지 않습니다.

4. 개인정보 처리의 위탁

회사가 제3자에게 위탁하는 개인정보 처리 업무는 없습니다.

5. 개인정보의 파기

회사가 보유하는 개인정보가 없으므로 파기 대상이 존재하지 않습니다. 기기 내 데이터는 이용자가 직접 삭제하거나 앱을 삭제하는 즉시 파기됩니다.

6. 자동 수집 장치의 설치·운영 및 거부

앱은 쿠키, 광고식별자(IDFA), 그 밖의 자동 수집·추적 장치를 사용하지 않습니다. 별도로 거부할 대상이 없습니다.

7. 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보

회사는 개인정보를 수집하지 않으므로 아동의 개인정보 역시 수집하지 않으며, 법정대리인의 동의를 받는 절차가 필요하지 않습니다.

8. 정보주체의 권리·의무 및 행사 방법

정보주체는 「개인정보 보호법」 제35조부터 제37조의2까지에 따라 개인정보의 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지 및 전송을 요구할 권리가 있습니다. 다만 회사가 보유한 개인정보가 없어 회사를 상대로 행사할 대상이 존재하지 않으며, 기기 내 데이터에 대한 통제권은 전적으로 이용자에게 있습니다(설정에서 열람·내보내기·삭제). 앱은 프로파일링을 포함한 자동화된 의사결정을 수행하지 않습니다.

9. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치

회사는 개인정보를 수집·전송하지 않는 설계(데이터 최소화)를 통해 위험을 원천적으로 제거합니다. 기기 내 데이터는 iOS 샌드박스와 기기 암호화로 보호됩니다.

10. 개인정보 보호책임자 및 고충 처리

정보주체는 개인정보 관련 문의·불만을 위 연락처로 제기할 수 있으며, 회사는 지체 없이 답변·처리합니다.

11. 권익 침해에 대한 구제 방법

정보주체는 아래 기관에 분쟁 해결이나 상담을 신청할 수 있습니다.

12. 처리방침의 변경

본 방침이 변경되는 경우(예: 향후 iCloud 백업 기능 도입) 시행 7일 전 웹사이트와 앱 업데이트 노트를 통해 고지합니다.

beside Co. ("we") publishes this Privacy Policy for the iOS app "baton." (the "App"). In short — we collect nothing. This section also addresses the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect or process any personal data through the App. Because we process no personal data, there are no purposes, legal bases, categories, retention periods, sources, or recipients to disclose.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The session records and baton texts you create are stored only on your device (and in the app group container group.com.besideco.baton used to display widgets). This data is never transmitted to us and we cannot access it. You can export or delete all data at any time in Settings; deleting the App deletes the data with it.

3. Third Parties & Sharing

In-app purchases ("Full Track") are processed by Apple as the seller of record, under Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not receive the payer's identity. We do not sell or share personal information (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA), and we have no data to sell or share. Local notifications (goal reached) are processed entirely on-device.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data (GDPR), and to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (CCPA/CPRA). Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to act upon; control over the data on your device rests entirely with you.

5. International Transfers & Retention

Nothing leaves your device, so there are no international data transfers and no retention by us.

6. Children's Privacy

Since we collect no personal information at all, we collect none from children.

7. Supervisory Authority

EU/EEA users may lodge a complaint with their local Data Protection Authority. Korean users may contact the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr) or KISA (privacy.kisa.or.kr).

8. Changes & Contact

If this policy changes (for example, a future iCloud backup feature), we will give notice on the website and in the app update notes at least 7 days before it takes effect.
